September 27 was our final day for 2014 - we offered free rides to everyone, and had lots of riders. A great Fall Fair! Record ridership, an instantly popular wheelchair car, and some fun train robberies by Theatre Now. A live steam day Aug 4. Cool video from sunday July 20 when we had a huge number of riders. From Apr 24 2016 - Sep 25, 2016 (weekend after Fall Fair) we will operate every Sunday. During the market (12:30 - 2:30 pm). We are closed October to April except for Santa Train in December. Part of Millennium Park; 1.2 km along next to the beach;trailhead at the campground. Box lable Search module. Powell River's Millennium Park is now part of the City's park system. It evolved from a proposal in 1999 to add 52 hectres (dark green) of Lot 450 to the existing city parkland (light green). The land west of the pole line (37 hectares) was purchased by the City in 2010 for $1.5m, and the trees purchased by the City in 2014 using $1.5m of Community Forest Society funds.
