Tucson Transplants: October 2007

Sunday, October 21, 2007. An Apple a Day. To make up for our Autumn deficiency Tim and I headed to Wilcox, AZ. What's so special about Wilcox? It's simple: Apple Annie's Orchard. Apple Annie's is a family owned farm that invites community members to handpick the freshest produce directly from their fields and orchards. This was a perfect opportunity to enjoy the perks of the harvest without months of manual labor. What would the little red hen say about that! Monday, October 15, 2007. Last week, Andrea a...

Sunday, September 16, 2007. For whom the school bell tolls. In an effort to resuscitate the old blog, I thought I'd write a quick note on my school. I've been at it now since August 20, and I'm finally having some paper deadlines and exams this coming week. It's always a tough little transition when the magical first few weeks of no deadlines draw to a close. They have been magical, though. No one's on the spot. The only dialog is between those darned undergrads talking in semi-low voices about unrel...

flip flops in the rain: December 2010
http://flipflopsintherain.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Some photos of the kiddos. I tried to snap some cute pictures after church on Sunday, but I had four hungry and not so willing participants.and we had to stay inside because it was rainy and yucky, the lighting is off, and they are a little blurry. http://nickyfisher69.blogspot.com/2011/10/autumn-2011.html
Welcome to my World! Monday, October 17, 2011. I'm glad I didn't miss the peak of the fall colors while we were gone. I am thrilled that our garden is growing pumpkins, tomatoes and green beans. I planted from seed in mid-July, so I'm thrilled to have any harvest at all. Pete is busy with work and just was called to the Stake Young Men's Presidency as First Counselor. We are loving our newly completed yard, and grateful for great weather to enjoy it! November 21, 2011 at 11:23 AM. Book List for 2012.
