Laquo; fear versus mystery. Imagine all the people…. Polaroid cameras and Andy Warhol. Anyways, the point comes down to the value of material things like art, music and the written word. I’m torn because when I take a picture with a polaroid camera, I have the picture – the art- right there in my hand. With my digital camera, they just sit in my computer waiting to become something. Otherwise, they are just digital memories, megabytes of memories with only potential. It’ a wonder man can eat at all.

Contentment is one of the hardest things for me. and i hate to admit that but it’s true. i always think something else is going to be better than what i’ve got. which who’s to say it isn’t better or worse? But the worst part, is that i convince myself that its ok to get that because, how am i going to know its not better if i don’t try it? Or is it my own personality that doesn’t feel adequate? I would say money and relationships are the two things i worry about most at this point in my life. and it is a complete reflection of the fact that i can’t let it go and give it over to God so i can stop worrying about it. he is so incredibly powerful but i repeatedly try to hold on to everything.
