Wednesday, February 21, 2007. A weekend trip to Saltspring Island. At the end of last summer we took a short trip to Saltspring with friends. We had a bit of difficulty figuring out which ferry to take to get there, and I thought I would clarify things here in case anyone has a similar problem. With Gulf Escapes. ...

Tuesday, February 14, 2006. Our trip to Tofino. Made a trip up to Tofino for the weekend last summer. It was totally fantastic! The scenery there is totally amazing. It's lush and green, quiet and very remote feeling and there is wild life everywhere, including lots of bald eagles, seals and sea lions, whales, whales and more whales. Who will then send out a message to all of the bed and breakfast owners who are members. Those b and bs with availability will then email you back. It was perfect! Each morn...

Wednesday, March 19, 2008. Hornby Island is Paradise! View of Lasqueti Island from Sandpiper Bay). We recently went up to Hornby Island for the weekend. I've been going to Hornby since I was about four years old, and have so many fond memories from our summers there. We used to stay right in Tribune Bay, which some might say is the ideal waterfront location on Hornby. It is the expansive, beautiful white sand beach that they call "Little Hawaii". Just up the road from Tribune Bay is The Co-op. Mt Geoffre...
