This blog is to record all my trips, good or bad. Hints and tips, what to watch out for and what i recommend. Monday, January 28, 2008. Come back down, for the lazy people there is the cable car. Dont miss out the indoor market near the baths (ok, plenty baths but you know which i mean) next to the bridge. ecellent food and choices in there. Hong Kong ID Card and Return Home Permit. Issues with Hong Kong ID Cards, and the Pink China Cards which is reffered to as Return Home Permits (港澳居民來往內地通行證). Saturday, March 19, 2011. Pink "Return Home Permit" - aka 港澳居民來往內地通行證. Just letting people know i have renewed my card, 10 years was up. Prior to renewing i heard all sorts of stories saying how non Hong Kong Residents, Non Hong Kong Passport Holders and all Foreign Born Subjects would not be able to renew. So fear not, hope this helps other people.

Though this time round i booked myself in the 8 bed dorm, i think the bed matress gave me a rash this time round. The Great Wall section i wanted to go on was temporary shut, only half the section the wall was open. Stay 5 nights and you get a free Beijing Opera ticket worth 270 RMB. My Tips on Travel Destinations
My Tips on Travel Destinations. First thing you need to do in Hong Kong. If you stay more than couple days, is to buy a Octopus Card. This is a rechargeable card used for the transport system within Hong Kong plus varies shops. To use the card, you just swipe over the sensors. If arriving by plane, then consider getting the Airbus. These are lettered E or A. If entering Hong kong by train at Lo Wu then you'll need the MTR. Some thing to do in Hong Kong:. 1) Get the cable car up, and see the Big Buddha.
