THIS JUST IN...: November 2011
http://kevinjjordan.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
By Kevin J. Jordan. Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Say It Ain't So, Joe. Say it ain't so Joe. Please tell me and your legion of fans that you thought you had no obligation to a 10-year old child who was raped beyond telling your boss. Say it ain't so Joe. Truth be told, at most colleges the Athletic Director would be your boss. Everyone knows that at Penn State you are his boss. Tell us that you didn't just wash your hands of the matter. Say it ain't so Joe. This isn't about you. Say it ain't so. When the ...

THIS JUST IN...: June 2011
http://kevinjjordan.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
By Kevin J. Jordan. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. George Herbert Walker Bush. I'm often asked about the "important" people you get a chance to meet as a reporter. I was blessed to have a 25 year career as a broadcast journalist and was very fortunate to meet some of those "important" people. Who was the nicest? But I'll start at the bottom of the list. By far the nicest presidential candidate I ever interviewed was George Herbert Walker Bush, our 41st President. I left knowing that this was not just a candidat...

THIS JUST IN...: February 2012
http://kevinjjordan.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
By Kevin J. Jordan. Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Let's start this way. Before Monday morning, I didn't know who M.I.A. was. MIA is Mathangi "Maya" Arulpragasam. She is a 36-year old British rapper who decided to twist the arm of fate in an effort to get more than her allotted fifteen minutes of fame. Yes America M.I.A. is the artist (really? Who flipped America the bird during the televised halftime show of Super Bowl XLVI. Yes Roger Goodell, I said, "Super Bowl." Come arrest me.). 590 FOREVER WARM RADIO.

THIS JUST IN...: September 2011
http://kevinjjordan.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
By Kevin J. Jordan. Monday, September 12, 2011. I wrote last year about the need for President Obama to appoint a "czar" to oversee the recovery after the Gulf Coast oil spill. The President has a penchant for appointing czars to oversee many of his initiatives. Well, here I go again. Mr President please appoint a czar to be your point man as Northeastern Pennsylvania recovers from the flood caused by Tropical Storm Lee. It only makes sense. This is the man for this job. This is a role he was born to play.

THIS JUST IN...: April 2014
http://kevinjjordan.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
By Kevin J. Jordan. Saturday, April 12, 2014. Mary C. Jordan (1933-2014). On behalf of my brothers Mark and Bernie and my sisters Eileen, Kathleen and Maureen and our children, I'd like to thank you for reaching out to us over the past several days as we mourned the death of our beloved mother, grandmother and matriarch; Mary Jordan. Our Mom and Grammy passed away April 9th after a two year battle with "The Big C.". She beat it twice. The third time was not to be the charm. Our Mom was a super-hero.

By Kevin J. Jordan. Thursday, April 19, 2012. A Solution in Search of a Problem. Republican supporters say it will cut down on voter fraud. Democratic detractors say it will disenfranchise minority and senior citizen electors. More and more this is beginning to look like a circular firing squad. Here's my problem; come November you will need to bring your photo driver's license to verify your identity and right to vote. But by applying for a license, "YOU'VE ALREADY COMPLETED THIS STEP.". In a dispute ov...

http://kevinjjordan.blogspot.com/2012/06/otrnfa.html
By Kevin J. Jordan. Saturday, June 9, 2012. I was shocked this week that The New York Times denied that President Barack H. Obama was the source of recent national security leaks, judged so serious that Attorney General Eric Holder has appointed two independent Special Prosecutors. For a moment let's forget the leaked information and its potential harmful effects on our nation's safety. For example.a reporter is asked if Mr. Smith is the source for a story. The reporter responds, "No.". I received an alm...
