http://rachelnyssen.blogspot.com/2011/06/spring-forward.html
And trying to get over it. Thursday, June 2, 2011. It's been a long time, friends. this winter has been most dreary and i've been mostly hibernating. when it came time to change the clocks, (which we forgot about, again) i was so disoriented when i woke up, over which clock was right and what time it really was, that in my morning grog i thought we were at fall back. I had to google it to see where we were. (looking out the window does no good: my brain just tells my body it is winter.). Peter and laura ...

under the weather: bloomin' june
http://rachelnyssen.blogspot.com/2011/06/bloomin-june.html
And trying to get over it. Friday, June 17, 2011. Not to be constantly griping about the weather, (the local news DID call the month we just had "mayvember" by the way, AND area billboards have taken to suggesting we take a break from the "sweltering 68 degrees" - with a beer, and that "who needs the sun? In an effort to focus on the positive, i thought i would post some sunny pictures. i like to follow the sun around, so here we are catching some rays at greenlake. And many days, even cloudy days, the s...

The Eddie Cap Tutorial. The Eddie Cap Tutorial. This is a quick tutorial for what I call an “Eddie Cap”- that’s Eddie up there . I still consider myself a new sewer so I’m sure there are many other and better ways to accomplish some of these steps, but this is how I do it. 😉. In this tutorial, I will be sewing a cap which will fit a 4-6 year old. I will try to point out the steps that you will need to adjust if you are making a smaller or larger cap. Okay, now get your stuff together:. 8211; the length.

Writer's Block: Some Thoughts...
http://writersblock-susie.blogspot.com/2015/01/some-thoughts.html
Completely random musings to clear a cluttered brain. Thursday, January 22, 2015. Editor's note: This was written back in October 2014. What if Michael Brown had been a white kid on drugs going after a black cop? Where would the sympathies lie? Would this even be in the news? Probably not, and it's my guess that that has happened countless times. Racism goes both ways, and it takes both sides to see it to erase it. Even "good kids" can make bad choices. Or having his first child? A Bit About Me. I got th...
