I vowed to start all sorts of cute traditions as well. Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Oliver S sells super cute sewing patterns. This last month they gave this pattern away for free. You just download it from their sight www.oliverands.com. I made two pairs of these "sunny days shorts" and added a ruffle at the bottom. I love how they turned out. They were so easy too! I added a pocket on Marian's shorts to help me know front from back. I guessed at its placement so it looks a little off. But still cute :). 2014 will be my summer of sewing!

Choody is such a good mom. I don't know how she does it. Her kids are so much fun! We went to some fun tide pools and Miles learned all about sea urchins. Also, he fell into a tide pool which was pretty funny. The kids flew some kites. ANd last weekend I visited my family and friends up north. Summers are for beaches.
