Ferry from Kuala Besut Pier. To the island leaves almost every hour. This should cost you approximately RM70 (both ways). They will tear off half the ticket on your ride into the island and let you keep the other half of the ticket for your exit ride out (Don't loose it). To start off, I have to tell you that many of the chalets here would tell you to just walk-in.there are a handful of resorts that will take in bookings, mainly the more expensive ones. After some time, I have come to realize that you are NOT asked when you'll be checking out. Upon receiving your room.I take it that these resorts have gotten used to guests staying indefinite lengths of time, hence they aren't able to commit to a room being available 3 weeks down the line.
