Obie's birthday was on September 4, last Sunday, and all he wanted for his birthday was a trip to Colorado to go camping in the mountains! So, we set off for Colorado at 5am Saturday morning. We traded the 105 degree temperatures in Kansas to freeze our butts off in Colorado! It was cloudy and rainy a lot of our time there, and we even had some freezing rain one day! These are called the "Devil's Staircase", located between LaVeta and Cuchara.
