Penybont Surf Lifesaving Club. Also find us on. Penybont SLSC's primary goal is to save lives. A major part of this objective is fulfilled by operating voluntary beach patrols. We endeavor to patrol every weekend between May and September. It is a vital service and many people have been helped by the club's volunteers. Penybont Surf Lifesaving Club. Also find us on. The slipway at Ogmore by Sea was removed two years ago on health and safety grounds. No one was prepared to build a new one. As a charity, Penybont SLSC could not afford to build one but the Committee agreed that a new slipway was essential. For the club, local community and members of the public. A golden oldie.
