Art Gallery’s Rapture | clothworkers
https://clothworkers.wordpress.com/2014/08/10/art-gallerys-rapture
Art Gallery’s Rapture. August 10, 2014. Inspired by the beautiful blue/teals, yellows and pink/peach hues of Art Gallery’s ‘Rapture’. And autumn sunset, I have set about making a new quilt for my 3 year old daughter (who has desperately been asking for a quilt of her own- her brother and sister have already got one of their own for their big beds). Not wanting to disappoint, I put a lot of thought into how I would construct this to create a sweet unique blanket especially for her. Sunday, August 10, 2014.

What to use the orange or the green? June 16, 2014. Before sewing the applique I will be tracing the animal shapes onto the yellow strips for my quilting. I am hoping to make a start in the next few days. Before making my final decision on which colour I will discuss with my friend. Categories: Works in Progress. Rusty Strips ‘quilt as you go’. June 11, 2014. This quilt is perfect for our spare bedroom, which has a small two seater old style sofa that we had covered in the russet colour. It will also have curtains in the same russet colour as soon as I make them. Tagged: Rusty Strips 'quilt and you go'. You are on fire, finishing all these quilts. This quilt is beautiful, can’t wait to see what you make next🙂. Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Thursday, June 12, 2014. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

August 19, 2014. It is with great pride that I write this post, my beautiful daughter has made her very own quilt and won first place in a national quilting comp aimed at encouraging young people to sew in the primary school category. She took home a new sewing machine for herself and 3 for her school, a fabric bundle and a magazine subscription. Well done xx. Cat panels and fabric selected. Miss L loves ironing… she irons my seams for me when I sew (I hate ironing). Sewing the binding on. Notify me of n...

Art Deco quilt finished and on it’s way to Sydney | clothworkers
https://clothworkers.wordpress.com/2014/06/18/art-deco-quilt-finished-and-on-its-way-to-sydney
Art Deco quilt finished and on it’s way to Sydney. June 18, 2014. I have finished the art deco quilt which my friend is giving to her daughter in law as a birthday present. When I was first asked to make the quilt I did not think I would have it finished in time for her birthday, but I enjoyed making it so much that I put all of my other projects on hold. Unfortunately the photos did not do justice to the colours of the fabrics. I am linking into Freshly pieced WIP Wednesday. Thursday, June 19, 2014.
