But I thought that they had been re-named". Yes they should be called Prosper! It still says Stemster, though.". They are the same potato.". Course it does. it's confusing! How many are we getting then? We don't eat potatoes! But they're seed potatoes? Yes but NOT BIRD SEED! That's the spuds sorted then. Where's the bird seed ? We can't carry that!

Tuesday, 10 December 2013. Tried and tested uses of goose fat. Wot? Being rather a rotund feline with a good appetite, I was reading the Days on the Claise. Post of this morning about the Touraine Goose. But something was missing. The goose fat element! I had heard that goose grease was good for the body and soul. So I Googled and found this on Ya-who Answers. Tried and tested uses of goose fat? Now that the weather is beginning to turn I am even more convinced that my grandsons need to be warm at night.

It is of the statue of Ronnie Descartes. he's meant to be some kind of pollygamist. or should that be polymath? Anyway, he was born in La Haye, just down the road, so they decided to rename the town Descartes. Every now and then, on a Sunday morning, we get left here while the Staff [or both Staff and Staffette]. Go to market in Descartes.

Wednesday, 29 February 2012. Dogs and Cats. no, that's the wrong way round! I've just been reading on Ken's blog. About Callie and Bertie. And how Bertie is being tormented by a dog that thinks a cat is the same as a sheep. And can be herded. Herding cats is like trying to fold mercury. It can't be done! When our ears go flat you silly dogs. Very, very annoyed. And we'll slash out. My Staff's Border Collie found this out as a puppy. Swung round and slashed that young pup across the face. I'm on a ' regime.
