Monday, April 30, 2012. Carolyn came first to help out with Miles and Georgia. She was such a huge help and played with Georgia a ton! I was able to nap and relax with Miles during his first week home. Nick was busy, busy, busy with school so it was such a blessing to have her here. We miss her and can't wait for another visit with her. We went to the botanical gardens which were beautiful and went into a butterfly garden which was fun for all of us! We miss them a ton, too! PS for anyone trying to potty...

Friday, September 30, 2011. So, our little stinker turned a year on the 5th! I've already posted a few pictures but just want to talk about what she's up to! This girl is walking everywhere. There's no stopping her either, since she thinks she can run. She mostly spends her day walking from room to room to room to see how far she can go without taking a break to hold onto something to regain her balance. Another first is she got her first haircut. These weren't from the same day, but you get the idea.

Midwest girl living in a crazy world. Thursday, October 30, 2014. Can It be Money-and-Treating? Today I feel like ranting about Halloween, since it's tomorrow. As a kid I absolutely loved it. An excuse to play dress-up and get a TON of free candy? It's every kid's dream. Now that I'm older, but not quite old enough for a family of my own, I discovered that I feel like I'm in a limbo of sorts. Let me explain. I am too old to go. May 10, 2012. Just started on Pinterest. Can never decide if these sites are beneficial to me or another way to complicate my life further. Maybe both. So I just graduated from Brigham Young University at the end of last month. My sister-in-law was also graduating. Boy I was glad to have a buddy through it all.
