Makin' Projiks: March 2015

Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Quilt finish #5, my little pony. I am trying out mobile blogging, so who knows what this will end up looking like! I finished quilt five this week, a my little pony quilt for sam. She has been asking for one for a solid month, so I put my head down and cranked this one out quickly. Binding in the sun yesterday. Binding has become my favorite part, which is odd, since I used to dread that part. Cutting and piecing took me about two hours, I did it all in one day. Oh man. Frida...

Vintage Rescue Squad: Surviving a Disappointing Antique Show/Flea Market
http://www.vintagerescue.typepad.com/vintage_rescue_squad/2016/05/surviving-a-disappointing-antique-showflea-market.html
Laquo; Junking on the DL, or Back From Hiatus. Ask and Ye Shall Receive ». Surviving a Disappointing Antique Show/Flea Market. Weve all been there. You have a bad show. Or the show actually IS bad. Or it rains, or the people in the tent next to you bicker the whole time. Or no one groks your wares. . Normally, I just adopt a zen-like attitude: Im out in a field on a sunny day, surrounded by people who love vintage, and get to shop a bit myself. So what if I essentially paid a $200 admission fee? I have a...

Makin' Projiks: Flea Market Sunday
http://mamanjackjack.blogspot.com/2015/08/flea-market-sunday.html
Monday, August 03, 2015. School starts in nine days and I am starting to think about getting the shop running full force again. I am partially spurred on by my desire to completely redo my living room - which is going to take cash. But also, I feel like the whole summer is over and I did virtually no junking! Dave and I went way out in the country to a little town with 148 people to hunt inventory. The old sugar eggs are so hard to find! I am always amazed that they survived. Suddenly I am like the home ...

http://mamanjackjack.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. On Halloween, the Great Pumpkin gave to me:. Our first family themed costumes! One chocolate chip cookie. Grant LOVED this, as soon as he saw it he said "Oh, chockit! And he put it right on. Now, will he do the same tonight or will he INSIST on being a cookie monster? One "cookie monster ballerina". It's cold and Sammi HATES being cold, so she was not anxious to take these photos. And one milk carton. Tonight it is supposed to be in the 20s(! Labels: Great Pumpkin 2014. On the t...
