Sunday, August 28, 2011. The long awaited, at least by me, new diner has opened up on main C-Ring road. There is a new building opposite Blue Salon, that houses Patchi, Le Notre and Rogers Diner. There were NOW OPEN signs up since two weeks ago, but the diner didn't actually open up until this week. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. In April 2010 we came out to Doha to visit friends who had moved here from the US. Our decision soon after to move here was in part knowing we had a small group of good friends here. Yesterday morning, 50% of that group just moved back to DC. After a year of being here, I've finally started to feel settled. However, knowing that our safety net just shrank by half, gives me a very uneasy feeling. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thursday, November 25, 2010. For starters, I had to push it to Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) because I was stuck at work on Thursday (Thanksgiving Day). Then it was a mission trying to find all the traditional ingredients required for the sides. The only turkey option was a frozen butterball turkey from MegaMart.
