SAme 0Ld SaME OLd. Friday, September 15, 2006. The update on Milo:. He had his second surgery yesterday. I called the vet and he said Milo was up, barking and toe-touching already. I feel pretty crappy about returning him to the shelter. Really wish I had a yard to keep him or Joe would take him. I can't - I hold a more than full-time job, have two other dogs and Milo is a lot of work being indoors. Sunday, is my niece's birthday party. So, I think I have been pretty good about posting lately.

SAme 0Ld SaME OLd. Thursday, August 24, 2006. I am bored to death here at work . I'm so tired, so bored - burnt out for sure. Besides the SSDD, here's what's been going on:. We are fostering this new kid a.k.a. MILO:. He has hip problems and needs one more surgery. Luckily, our vet is doing this pro-bono - otherwise, this fella wouldn't have a chance - the CACC would have just put him down. He's on his 2nd day with us and so far, he's been behaving. SAme 0Ld SaME OLd. Monday, January 30, 2006. Its been a while since I've had time to post. Nothing much going on, I must say. Been working like a madman. Also had brunch over at Buddha Bodai - I think that's how you spell it - on Mott Street. The food was really good, but it does take a while for the food, since I think they prepare the entrees (more like dim sum) individually. All in all, New Year's was good. I wish all of you a Wonderful New Year, filled with Happiness, Good Health and Prosperity.

On my way out the door of my apartment, I stop in my tracks to observe the smoke filled hallway and say . "holy sh-t" Steve's annoyed by my comment and grumbles "what? As I eavesdrop on the conversation, I scream "hang up on that idiot and call the fire department! Ahhhh . on a lighter note . I'm going to the Bahamas . I'm going to the Bahamas . SAme 0Ld SaME OLd. Monday, November 21, 2005. I thought I'd take the time out and wish my readers a Happy Thanksgiving. I know I won't get around to wishing everybody one in person anyway. Besides, I don't think any of my readers even celebrate this holiday. But in any event, I do, celebrate this day - its the food that entices me to. =) Not to forget, its usually a three-day work week too, which always helps. I've had a good weekend, but its was marred by this stupid haircut I got! Is it the snowman?

Yes, I am officially t-w-e-n-t-y-n-I-n-e . closer to middle-age! I really appreciate all of the company, the comfort food and of course the gifts - its all what's inside that counts! 1 Went to a Rain. Concert - felt young again like a teenager. Do you know? He said he loved me! 4 Went tubing during the massive snow storm. Took Chester with us too!
