Observations and Rants of a Native New Yorker: March 2009
http://observerants.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Observations and Rants of a Native New Yorker. Thursday, March 19, 2009. Something unique happened to me today. Now, allow me to clarify what I mean by the title of the post "The Flushing Effect". No, it has nothing to do with being in Flushing Queens for an extended period of time. It also has nothing to do with bathroom activities and/or equiptment. What it has to so is with the side effects of a prescribed medicine I was taking. A little over a week ago, my doctor prescribed Simcor. I read the descrip...

Observations and Rants of a Native New Yorker. Saturday, July 11, 2009. XBox360 Trials and Tribulations. So after 6 months of smooth gaming with the XBox 360, my voyage has hit a bump which feels more like a brick wall. I bought the XBox360 as a family present for this past Christmas. Now I've heard about all the problems the XBox360 had with the Red Rings of Death (RRoD). So off we went for a smooth 6 month gaming tour, when the weather started getting rough (Boy that sounds familiar, LOL). After going ...

Observations and Rants of a Native New Yorker. Friday, November 14, 2008. The Bird of Prey in The Bronx. Labels: Bird of Prey. Wednesday, November 5, 2008. History was made November 4, 2008 11:00pm EST. I know that in my last post I mentioned the reason as to why I had my doubts on whether Obama could win the election. There's no need to re-hash what I said but I'll be the first to admit I was wrong (thankfully so). Or as I prefer to list myself as: A Realist, hate to be a buzz-killer but the time for th...

http://observerants.blogspot.com/2015/01/bagging-your-lunch-to-save-money.html
Observations and Rants of a Native New Yorker. Monday, January 5, 2015. Bagging Your Lunch To Save Money. I originally wrote this post in November but decided to hold it over until the New Year. Maybe those of you who are feeling "New Year's Resolution Fever". 10 x 5 days = $50. 50 x 52 weeks = $2600. That's a pretty hefty amount and I'm not even taking into account the money that is spent on your morning coffee, donut, roll and danish. 5 x 5 days = $25. 25 x 52 weeks = $1300. 2600 Estimated Lunch a Year.

If you rather do your own plan, print out this chart to keep track:. Until next time,. Its been one long stayca...
