Or: Bypassing the obvious for the sake of the obscure
I miss the days when life was complicated in simpler ways: Snow day!
http://notimefortheobvious.blogspot.com/2008/01/snow-day.html
I miss the days when life was complicated in simpler ways. Or: Bypassing the obvious for the sake of the obscure. Aww, it's the last random recipe of January! Don't be sad. I may post more next month. Today's recipe is filed under "didn't quite turn out as expected." Tortilla snowflakes! End result was okay, but not wonderful. What I did learn was how easy it is to make my own baked (i.e. substantially healthier) tortilla chips! Didnt quite turn out as expected. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
I miss the days when life was complicated in simpler ways: Yum, sushi!
http://notimefortheobvious.blogspot.com/2008/01/yum-sushi.html
I miss the days when life was complicated in simpler ways. Or: Bypassing the obvious for the sake of the obscure. Anyone who knows me knows of my love for sushi. Oh, wait, it's the opposite. I'm not a big fan of that particular Japanese dish. Or most other Japanese dishes. However, I do like this version. Start with a fruit roll up (unrolled). Add shredded coconut. It wouldn't be sushi without fish. I used the Swedish. Variety. Roll it up, then slice it. Mmm, sugary. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Thursday, June 25, 2009. Well, technology advances and I have finally joined the wave. I'm actually making this quick post from my phone. I will try to make a real post soon that explains what is going on in my life. But for now, suffice it to say I'm enjoying joining the mobile-internet world. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Everything that happens to me after the race, the stroke, the coma, the recovery, and the move to Florida. Monday, October 20, 2008. Well, it's done. Finished. Accomplished. I have helped my company successfully start AHC Home Care of Colorado. Everything that happens to me after the race, the stroke, the coma, the recovery, and the move to Florida. Sunday, June 29, 2008. Needless to say (shout out to Robbie) he lov. Sunday, June 22, 2008. At a Loss For Words. Suffice it to say that I finally got offered, and took, the health care. So what does all this lead up to? The fact that above all else I love the Lord and my heavenly Father. Why, you ask? And I'm most definitely really, really, really, really, ridiculously good looking!

This time, however, we are in Tallahassee and living in a doctor's office below my sister-in-law's family. Home Care. Christina and I talked and prayed about what to do next. Funny places to live. Everything that happens to me after the race, the stroke, the coma, the recovery, and the move to Florida. Thursday, October 15, 2009. I read an interesting article in the Ensign yesterday and so have named this post after the title of said article, Truth and Lies. Changes come in the form of going off to school, changes come when you realize that your major isn't right for you and you have to change it and your classes (sometimes multiple times! And that's what started me on this diatribe about change. Monday, May 14, 2007. I figured I would join the bandwagon and do what everyone else in my related end of the blogosphere is doing.

Everything that happens to me after the race, the stroke, the coma, the recovery, and the move to Florida. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. I love the prophet Nephi's. Simplicity. I mentioned in an earlier post (July 8) about how hard and yet simple it is to be obedient and do what we are supposed to do. I wanted to post this as a follow up to that, a scriptural follow-up. I want to talk about the reason I never…. A Mother’s Instinct…. Welcome to the world. Oh so I probably should mention that I have a baby! Tell me I mean more to you than anything…. Does m...
