12304;校名緣起 】. 日本人據臺經過數次行政區域調整，至1920年（民國9年、大正9年）實施「市街庄」制度，「街」相當於現今的「鎮」，「庒」相當於「鄉」。「街、庄」之下，以較大的聚落為名，稱為大字，涵蓋較小的聚落，稱為小字。由「大正堡圖」可知道，當時南寮地區的行政層級如下：. 新竹州-新竹郡-舊港庄-槺榔庄：槺榔、大店、萬興、船頭、鳧湖(學校位置)、下過溝仔. 新竹州-新竹郡-舊港庄-十塊寮庄：十塊寮(中寮里)、南寮、蟹仔埔(海濱里). 新竹州-新竹郡-舊港庄- 油車港庄：油車港(港北里)、外湖、雙寬竹圍、樹林仔. 其中「槺榔庄」、「十塊寮庄」、「油車港庄」三地為大字，涵括後面的小字地名. 因為陸路逐漸發達及「舊港」淤積嚴重，所以在民國21年，日本政府宣布廢港。「舊港」雖沒有商港功能，但仍保有漁業的功能，再加上日本人積極投入漁業技術的改良及魚場的開發，奠定了漁業的發展。「南寮」本來是一個不起眼的小聚落，臨...12304;創校緣起】節錄自「八十周年校慶特刊」：. 12288; 成立之初，經費籌措不易，校舍建築困難，乃商借富美宮側屋為教室...12288; 此後十幾年間ʌ...
