http://wright-adoptionwow.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 19, 2009. Inquiring minds want to know! Where have we been? What have we been doing? Emory was four months old this past Thursday. He now weighs 14.5 lbs and is a champ at holding his head up. When put on his tummy he is doing his darndest to lift his little head and just moves his legs back and forth, back and forth. We are well on our way to crawling I believe…Whew! I had a dream he just started walking. I was totally screwed as far as child proofing goes! 8221; and trade off. It can b...

Adoption...WOW: January 2009
http://wright-adoptionwow.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 26, 2009. This is a picture of Lori and her brother when they were little. Weren't they precious! I am not sure how choosing a name works with other couples but this is how it went with us. I went through baby name books. I choose names I liked and wrote them down. Blake went through the list and crossed out about 99.9% of them. Okay so maybe I am exaggerating just a little bit.he only crossed out 99% of them. In the end we choose Emory Reese Wright. It has a nice ring to it.don't...If no...

Living the Frugal Life. The ultimate challenge. Buy nothing NEW for one year. Living with less now so that we can have more later. Monday, January 12, 2009. Well after the beating yesterday, today is a little better. Well after a month the calls started coming. I avoided them like the plague and my stress levels went through the roof. Adoption...WOW: March 2009
http://wright-adoptionwow.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Lori seems to be doing well. She is focusing on school and her relationship with her boyfriend (who is not Emory's biological father). I selfishly had never considered how all of this must have effected their relationship. Her running off to Texas to stay with virtual strangers over Thanksgiving and giving birth to another mans child. At any rate we have started a web page. So our friends and family can look at pictures of Emory while we complete our stay in the state of Babyville.

Friday, February 20, 2009. How did we get here? Blake and I have now been happily married for 4 years and 4 months. After we had been married for almost 2 years we started "trying" or at least not trying. Children. We married at age 33 (for both of us, we are just a few months apart). We knew darn well that we were not spring chickens! Back to my story.she wants me to take Clomid to make me hyper ovulate so there are more eggs that way we have a better chance of one of them being fertilized. It was a ver...

Adoption...WOW: Two months...how did that happen?
http://wright-adoptionwow.blogspot.com/2009/05/two-monthshow-did-that-happen.html
Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Two months.how did that happen? This Emory is sleeping on my lap. While we do follow the "back to sleep" recommendation of the AAP. To sleep is to lay on his tummy atop the. Pillow. He is usually wrapped up in a miracle blanket if we are trying for nap or night time sleep rather than just helping to ease a tummy ache and. Sucking away on his p aci. Things are going well on that front. On Mondays until Blake is out of school for the summer my Mom is watching. I was also hesitant t...

Living the Frugal Life: falling off the wagon a bit
http://theyearwithout2.blogspot.com/2009/01/falling-off-wagon-bit.html
Living the Frugal Life. The ultimate challenge. Buy nothing NEW for one year. Living with less now so that we can have more later. Sunday, January 11, 2009. Falling off the wagon a bit. I would starve to death! So I grabbed some cash from the change jar and picked up McDonald's. Plus side was that it didn't come out of the budget money. Well all they had for shoes were holiday shoes; black patent leather, and shimmer red. :( But they did have a long sleeved onesie that says "Daddy Rocks! January 12, 2009...
