So last week at Lucy's two week appointment she hadn't quite made it back up to her birth weight, so I am taking her back tomorrow morning for a weigh in. It's official- the house on 15201 Smithfield Drive will only be home to the Vollmer family for about 3 more weeks. With a relatively spur of the moment decision to put our house on the market mid-June, Nick and I were a little shocked when it sold in just three short days! Luckily we have such wonderful friends and family who have already been generous in giving us helping hands:). August 1st is moving day- wish us luck!

As I mentioned in my last post, Owen and I traveled to the Gulf Coast with my family mid-May for a week long stay in Florida. Most of my life, we have always vacationed in the Carolinas/Atlantic, but I must say the Gulf beaches were BEAUTIFUL! The water was so clear and the sand was so white, it almost seemed like Mexico!
