NHS Book Club: Female Author Choice
http://nhs-bookclub.blogspot.com/2007/01/female-author-choice.html
Newington High School Book Club - On the Web since 2005. Reading can take you anywhere. Monday, January 29, 2007. Queen O' the Books. Queen O' the Books. It looks as if many of you took a break from the "oh so depressing" choices that we have been reading, which is probably a good thing. What can you say about the light stuff other than it makes a good diversion with minimal investment on the part of the reader. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Create your Like Badge. NHS Book Club: Going Bovine
http://nhs-bookclub.blogspot.com/2010/12/going-bovine.html
Newington High School Book Club - On the Web since 2005. Reading can take you anywhere. Tuesday, December 07, 2010. Just started our December book choice – Going Bovine by Libba Bray. I have to admit that I am really enjoying it….and I didn't think that I would. She is absolutely right on the mark describing the philosophy of much of what goes on in a high school. I am finding her writing witty and intelligent and surprising. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Create your Like Badge.

Newington High School Book Club - On the Web since 2005. Reading can take you anywhere. Thursday, January 31, 2008. It has been awhile since the NHS Book Blog was updated. Our December meeting was well-attended, though the grab bag idea was a bit of a flop. An enjoyable discussion around humor books kept it light. We especially enjoyed the highlights from the Body Language book. The horror selection for January was. By Matheson as well as. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Create your Like Badge.

http://nhs-bookclub.blogspot.com/2005/12/bel-canto-discussion.html
Newington High School Book Club - On the Web since 2005. Reading can take you anywhere. Thursday, December 08, 2005. Well, thanks to an AP Bio test and a music appearance or rehearsal or something along those lines, we had a whopping 3 member turnout for last night's (Dec.7)book discussion. Oh well, everyone had a chance to get in on the discussion. Thanks to Erica for the 7-layer bars and thanks to everyone for putting up with the crazy howling and door bumping from Maynard (the bulldog).

Newington High School Book Club - On the Web since 2005. Reading can take you anywhere. Monday, September 24, 2007. What Happened to Cass McBride? Our first book for the 2007-2008 NHS Book Club is a psychological thriller "full of suspense that will keep you flipping the pages until well into the middle of the night" (according to Erica) So, let's begin the discussion with your ideas about what the title means. We know the answer to the literal question, but by the end of her experience, what.

NHS Book Club: Time Traveler's Wife
http://nhs-bookclub.blogspot.com/2005/11/time-travelers-wife.html
Newington High School Book Club - On the Web since 2005. Reading can take you anywhere. Thursday, November 17, 2005. As I think about this book, I find myself coming back to the idea of the possibility of time travel after death. Actually, it's not really after death, since the travel to the future occurs while Henry is alive - it's just that he arrives in Clare's future more than 40 years after he has died. What must Clare be feeling? If his clothes were on him, wouldn't they travel with him? View my co...
