Having completed a property build, renovation and landscaping project on my home in Autumn 2010, I found myself with some spare time for the first time in a couple of years. Coupled with an urge to do something about the inevitable 'creative gap' that comes a little while after the completion of any major challenge, I decided that railway modelling would be a rewarding hobby to while away the dark evenings and nights of winter.

I have always had a fascination for all types of model railway. I started out with a couple of Hornby OO Gauge train sets, with no scenery, mainly because of space restrictions. THEN!
