Part 9 is technically a District Court part but is located in Mineola, in the West Wing Courthouse. The backup attorney should also introduce him/herself to the clerk and remain in Part 9 to assist the primary attorney (by taking some of the assignments if there are a large number) but the backup attorney is also required to go to individual County Court Parts when a Legal Aid conflict develops and an 18B attorney’s presence is required.
