http://julessewpretty.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, 26 May 2011. I was very relieved to find that he was very happy with my first attempt as he only gave me 2 days in which to do it! This is what he did with it. What do you think? The knitting's OK too, for a rush job! He had the needles made out of steel and one of his fashion student friends modelled for him. Kaffe Fassett eat your heart out! Links to this post. Sunday, 22 May 2011. A little trip to Tampere, Finland. 8211; a revolving restaurant on the 20 something. Lahijuustoa (local cheese -...

Grateful 4 Crochet
http://gratefulcrochet.blogspot.com/2012/08/oh-hi-its-been-while-and-i-have-been.html
Wednesday, 29 August 2012. It's been a while, and I have been sent to the naughty corner by myself for being a bad bad blogger. But you know, sometimes life gets in the way of blogging. Anyhoo, todays post is all about getting back to the roots of the name of this blog, and being grateful. Today I am super grateful that I was lucky enough to win this adorably awesome toadstool from the lovely Lori at Hippywitch crafts. In the meantime, I hope you are all well and happy and enjoying life. Glad you are bac...

Jules Sew Pretty: June 2011
http://julessewpretty.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 28 June 2011. Buying got off to a slow start as the first stall we came to had some lovely things for sale but no owner in sight. We hovered, and waited, took off further down the field, looking back to check on the seller's whereabouts and when she finally appeared she declared the lovely cloth that Anne wanted to buy as not being for sale! It was really warm and we were starting to flag when I thought Anne was going to pass out with delight at the sight of this beauty. Links to this post.

Jules Sew Pretty: January 2015
http://julessewpretty.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, 31 January 2015. Perception, reflection, resolution. It's been a while! It's funny how our perceptions of ourselves can be so different to those of others. I was recently told that I am a very talkative person. That struck me as funny since I think I keep most of my talk in my head, not letting it out of my mouth. It seems I am wrong. The talking escapes but mostly as a manifestation of my own shyness I think. Coming back to blogger world is a small step. Oh, and plenty of butter. CARA ALAMI ME...

Jules Sew Pretty: Bye Baby Bunting...
http://julessewpretty.blogspot.com/2015/02/bye-baby-bunting.html
Wednesday, 18 February 2015. The bunting didn't take me long to do. finding a needle small enough to go through the bead hole but large enough to fit the yarn through was more of an ordeal. had to get the pliers out to pull the needle and yarn through the teeny tiny hole. But quite happy with the finished result. Son number three is coming home for a short break today so I was up early to bake a little something for him. Chocolate and orange cookies, made with love. Well, who needs sleep? And so to bread.

Friday, 29 July 2016. Today I am joining in with the lovely Amy at Love Made My Home. For Five on Friday. I thought I would share five really great things from the last few weeks that have made me a very happy person indeed. Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who left lovely messages on my last post. They mean such a lot and it was so heart warming to read them all. Of course, my first happy has to be our wedding! What can I say? It was everything we had hoped for and more. The perfect day for us.

A Hidden Jem: a quiet month
http://jemsdays.blogspot.com/2016/11/a-quiet-month.html
Friday, 18 November 2016. We've had a gentle couple of weeks. Germs have reared their ugly heads once again, so we've suffered some restless nights. Lily has had a horrible cough which has gone on for several weeks now, that thankfully seems to be easing off at last. I have been working on my crochet when time allows and I am also knitting some socks. I think this is the first time I have ever had two projects on the go at the same time. 18 November 2016 at 13:41. 23 November 2016 at 11:25. Aww, thank yo...
