On the way in we met two unhappy climbers who told us that they had headed up the approach trail and had spent a couple hours belaying steep sections of the approach gully. They only climbed eight pitches knowing that they would have to rappel down part of the approach as well as the climb! I do very clearly remember pitches 16 and 17! They have NO bolts in about 330 feet!
