We celebrated with her friends earlier in the month with a rockin' birthday party! Lucy played another season of soccer this past fall. It was really fun to watch how much they are learning about the game. Lucy continues to do well in school (4th grade) and is such a responsible big siste. R (when she's not bugging her. Ben is st...

Enjoying the little things. Because one day I'll realize they were the big things. Sunday, May 11, 2008. Tagged by Jenna, my first tag. In honor of Mother's Day. What time do the kids wake up? On school days, when I drag them out of bed around 7:45 and on weekends, they somehow manage to get up a little earlier on their own! At least they can find something to do on their own now, so I don't have to get up that early! How long have I been a mom? What is my favorite kid show? Favorite meal to cook? 5)Thei...

Enjoying the little things: Tough decisions
http://enjoying-the-little-things.blogspot.com/2009/04/tough-decisions.html
Enjoying the little things. Because one day I'll realize they were the big things. Friday, April 17, 2009. He was such a good dog. I think in the 12 years I knew him, I never heard him bark! I still remember Elijah and Rolf hanging out together in the dog house, then rolling around on the grass and Elijah ended up rolling in Rolf's dog poo. Yes, good memories of Rolf. We'll miss him. Enjoying the little things. Because one day I'll realize they were the big things. Sunday, June 29, 2008. Last day of T-ball. The Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies. I thought I'd share my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. I got this from my mom a few months back, and she had got it from one of her friends, so I don't know where it originally came from. It is the YUMMIEST recipe! And the cookies are even more yummier with mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiched between two of them! 1 1/2 Cup butter.

http://enjoying-the-little-things.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Enjoying the little things. Because one day I'll realize they were the big things. Saturday, August 30, 2008. Trevor's Hike with Grandpa. Trevor and Grandpa hiked up Mt. Si yesterday. Here are some pictures my dad took. They didn't actually climb the Haystack (the rocks at the top), but were just trying to freak me out since someone died falling from them recently. Saturday, August 23, 2008. I love the sense of accomplishment that I feel when I'm doing something industrious! Thursday, August 21, 2008.

http://enjoying-the-little-things.blogspot.com/2009/01/great-weekend.html
Enjoying the little things. Because one day I'll realize they were the big things. Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Trevor turned 8 last Thursday. We were able to have his baptism on Saturday in Bellingham with his Grandpa Vaughn's baptism! It was a wonderful day! Ben's dad has been attending church for the last few months and talking to the missionaries. He decided he wanted to get baptised. It was so neat for Trevor to get to share his baptism day with his Grandpa! It was a wonderful day! It all adds up.
