Saturday, December 22, 2007. To recap my December, let me start with the two shows that I was lucky enough to get to see. Our good friends Marie and Anthony are now engaged. He proposed to her at the party. Of course she said yes! Bring on the New year! December 27, 2007 at 11:19 PM. Hope you have a nice trip and love the puppies! I just am bash...

http://kimmelendy.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 26, 2007. Life Lately around the Cardinal Cottage. Life for us lately has been crazy. As I have written about before, I just got a new job. So far, I like it, but it is very draining on me physically and mentally. Passiflora Incarnata (Purple Passion Flower). We are heading to WV this weekend for a visit with the family and next weekend will be busy as well with deck work going on and a a mandatory trip to the annual St James Court Art Show held in Old Louisville. In a few days, my b...

Cardinal Cottage: October 2007
http://kimmelendy.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 24, 2007. They Make Bluegrass Cool. I won't get into a critique of their music here, but go to amazon or itunes and check them out. If you are at all musically open minded you will find them just talented, passionate, and revolutionary as I do. So, in closing thank you Nickel Creek for these years of ridiculously amazing music and for a great show on Friday. You make me proud to be a mountain girl. I hope to see you together again one day. Monday, October 15, 2007. This Old Crack House.

Cardinal Cottage: The Deck! (In progress)
http://kimmelendy.blogspot.com/2007/11/deck-in-progress.html
Sunday, November 4, 2007. So far, we have built the frame around the entire deck. We also replaced a very rickety pair of stairs that originally attached to the deck. Full view of the whole deck. Notice how the frame is finished, but we haven't attached any of the lattice, so it looks a little odd. A Closer View that includes the stairs. We will be enclosing the entire left hand side of the deck to create an intimate dining area and to block the view of the AC. Ooh, I love outdoor fireplaces! Michael and...

Feathers and Fabric: Wagons West!
http://diamondmeenuhcreations.blogspot.com/2008/06/exodus-and-return-of-diamondmeenuh.html
Friday, June 13, 2008. I've never been one to keep a journal. I just can't seem to do it. Nope, can't figure it out either. But, in order to document the trip I did feel one was necessary. Below is the first half of that journal [page wise]. It's all told from the perspective of my 2 1/2 year old, Edgar Allan. I do hope all those who read enjoy his point of view. 8220;The Exodus”. From Edgar Allan Chirp Stilwell’s Point Of View. May 11 2008 to. None of my other two Mom’s liked my car alarm noise...

Feathers and Fabric: June 2008
http://diamondmeenuhcreations.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Wagons West, The Conclusion. Today is also Cleo’s 12th birthday! I know what a rubber ducky is. I do hope I get one tomorrow! I guess the one thing that excited Mom and Dad during the trip was that we crossed the Continental Divide at 1:32pm. Does that excite you? It doesn’t me. What is a Continental Divide anyway? One of those weird human things? We found Huey’s house with no problem thanks to Cleo and I was so happy to see my Momma Tina! That Huey landed on Mom for just a second...
