Last week I was in Holland looking at onions and mooli (a large white radish). The onion area in Holland is up 7% on last year, to about 22’000 hectares but plant populations are down by 15% due to wind blow and soil ‘capping’ damage. It is thought that this means total yields will be about average, but lower than last year. Graded onion ready for export. Washed and graded mooli. Give Us a Shout.
