God's Own Children: What happens in Heaven
http://godsownchildren.blogspot.com/2009/08/what-happens-in-heaven.html
Monday, August 31, 2009. What happens in Heaven. This is one of the nicest e-mails I have seen and is so true:. Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the Door of a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there, idly doing nothing. This is the Acknowledgment Section,' My angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed. How Is it that there is no work going on here? How does one acknowledge GOD's blessings? You are richer than 75% of this world.

God's Own Children: You are the one
http://godsownchildren.blogspot.com/2009/04/you-are-one.html
Tuesday, April 14, 2009. You are the one. One song can spark a moment,. One flower can wake the dream. One tree can start a forest,. One bird can herald spring. One smile begins a friendship,. One handclasp lifts a soul. One star can guide a ship at sea,. One word can frame the goal. One vote can change a nation,. One sunbeam lights a room. One candle wipes out darkness,. One laugh will conquer gloom. One step must start each journey,. One word must start each prayer. One hope will raise our spirits,.

God's Own Children: Seasons
http://godsownchildren.blogspot.com/2009/04/seasons.html
Monday, April 20, 2009. There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away. The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer and the fourth son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen. The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent and twisted. Drop your old rags.

God's Own Children: Drop your old rags
http://godsownchildren.blogspot.com/2009/04/drop-your-old-rags.html
Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Drop your old rags. He made his way back to the palace. He approached the guard at the gate. "Please, sire, I would like to speak to the king.". Wait here," the guard replied. In a few minutes, he was back. "His majesty will see you," he said, and led the beggar in. You wish to see me? The beggar shook so hard that he could not see the faint smile that was on the king's face. What if he would need his old clothes again. Quickly he gathered them up. The banquet was far greater tha...
