‘Spiced Delight’ Protein Shake
http://mybakingheart.com/2015/07/31/spiced-delight-protein-shake
8216;Spiced Delight’ Protein Shake. July 31, 2015. With a lot of events and a busy calendar for Fall, I’ve been trying to streamline my eating habits with clean and healthy recipes. The vegan lifestyle is no joke, especially when you’re addicted to daily coffee runs and ice cream after dinner. But, with the handful of wonderful products I was able to try from Target’s ‘Made to Matter’ program. The transition has been easy. Spiced Delight’ Protein Shake. 1 scoop protein powder, vanilla. 1 c almond milk.
Seven Years of Sweet Treats on ‘My Baking Heart’!
http://mybakingheart.com/2015/06/08/seven-years-of-sweet-treats-on-my-baking-heart
Seven Years of Sweet Treats on ‘My Baking Heart’! June 8, 2015. This year arrived with a loud crash and bang. With the flooding of a garage, trips to the ER, surgeries, post-op appointments, physical therapy and the passing of my grandmother Mango. I feel like I’ve seen better days. My life is a blessed one, most definitely, but hopefully 2015 is smooth sailing from here on out. Because of the aforementioned, I let MBH’s seventh anniversary come and go. The result? Happy Birthday, MBH! 1-1/2 c cake flour.

Missy's Mixing Bowl: March 2009
http://missysmixingbowl.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. Ellie Krieger’s Oven Baked Onion Rings. We made burgers on the grill last night, and we needed a yummy side for them. I immediately think chips, french fries, or onion rings.anything crunchy and greasy, right? This wasn't what I really wanted; let's cut fat and calories where we can right? If you can bake potato fries, you can bake onion rings, right? I launched my search online for baked onion rings.and I found this recipe from Elly Krieger. 1 cup low fat. 1 to 2 large Vidalia.
Missy's Mixing Bowl: December 2008
http://missysmixingbowl.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 26, 2008. We had tons of Christmas leftovers, but are we the only ones that crave something greasy and salty right after Christmas? Don't get me wrong, we will eat the leftovers, and we will enjoy them. Christmas dinner was excellent. It always is. But, tonight, I wanted a burger and fries. For the burger.it was a "Bleu Burger". This was simple and pretty quick! It worked out perfect! 1 lb ground beef. 1/3 cup crumbled bleu cheese(or as much as you like.I actually eyeballed it). Combine ...
Missy's Mixing Bowl: Stir Fry Asparagus with Cashews
http://missysmixingbowl.blogspot.com/2009/02/stir-fry-asparagus-with-cashews.html
Monday, February 16, 2009. Stir Fry Asparagus with Cashews. My first and only regret/apology.no photos of this yummy veggie side dish. Had I known it was this impressive, I would have. It was a long day and this was such a quick dinner to make; I just didn't think to grab a camera. I served this as a side with salmon (very lightly seasoned with seafood rub and baked in foil packets), and brown rice. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 tablespoons sesame oil. 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root. This is just a pla...
Missy's Mixing Bowl: Chicken Lasagna Rolls
http://missysmixingbowl.blogspot.com/2009/03/chicken-lasagna-rolls.html
Thursday, March 19, 2009. This dish satisfied two things I was hoping for. One, my craving for Italian without going out and paying the bill at a nice restaurant. And two, my efforts to use up random things in the pantry (in this case, half a box of lasagna noodles, a jar of spaghetti sauce, and some chicken breasts). Usually I either ask Brett to clear dishes out before I start cooking or to be prepared. To do it after, so he can then clean up the kitchen when we are done eating! 1 jar spaghetti sauce.

Baking is a Piece of Cake. FFWD: savory cheese and chive bread. Savory cheese and chive bread. From around my french table. I had grand plans for this week’s French Fridays with Dorie recipe. When I saw the Heritage Bundt Pan in a blog, I knew I had to have it. BTW, the platter is something I painted on Valentine’s Day weekend with my boo… yes, I make him paint pottery with me. My Baking Dish – The kitchen adventures of a foul-mouthed home cook
The kitchen adventures of a foul-mouthed home cook. The BBSE (Best Breakfast Sandwich Ever). There is little I enjoy more for breakfast than an egg sandwich with bacon and cheese. I tend to go a little fancier than some with fresh sourdough bread, peppered bacon, sharp cheddar, and tomato. As always, I choose eggs straight from the farm and meat raised humanely with no added hormones. I also eat…. Read More ». French-Inspired Beef Stew (Slow Cooker Recipe). Read More ». Read More ».
