Buckets of peaches?

Seven month update from DC. August 5, 2011. The dog days of August are upon us, and nowhere is more stifling during such times as the South. Although, technically Washington, DC is not really the South…as one friend recently put it: “there are way too many Yankees here”. So that “temporary” move to DC that I did back in January? Not so temporary. Thank god, since it has always been my dream to live and work in this city. DC is lovely in the spring! January 17, 2011. I am very very excited to be making my...

I’ve been gone every single weekend, and have visited some cities that were never on my radar:. Nashville, TN (to see my cousin Jessica). This is what I call the Batman building, gracing the Nashville skyline. Above is the main neon drag in Nashville, where we spent part of one evening before escaping the bachelorette parties and drunk cowboys.
