Up and Coming Events and News. The talented Portuguese Gospel singer will be performing at St Cleers Chapel, Somerton on Saturday 9th April 2016 @ 7:30pm. A collection will be taken to support the work of Mpongwe's people and project Mozambique. Contact Ant webb for more details. Charity Bike ride through Portugal. A team of cyclists will be riding the length of Portugal North to South (apparently the second most mountainous country in Europe) from 1st - 9th May 2016 to raise funds for Mpongwe's people.

I became a trustee of Mpongwes People after a visit there in August 2011 and now am part of the OVC sub committee. I’m married to Ant and we have four daughters all of whom consider themselves African! I am married and have three children, the oldest Nathan went to Zambia and this prompted me to see things for myself! I have experience in nursing and social work and felt I may have a few things to offer but it was very much the other way round when I visited! Mrs Jemma Blake - Administrator.

Here are some experiences that people have had whilst visiting Mpongwe also a few photos so you can see how life really is for them there. I have now been to Zambia 3 times on working parties, assisting and working alongside the local people, and am continually involved in various fund raising activities here in the UK!
