In some ways, it seems like yesterday; in others, it seems another life ago. These four months have been a mixture of awe and angst, of love and loss, of hope and despair. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. My 7 year old girl! Labels: Piper at 7. Monday, September 29, 2014. Piper loves breaking through her door on her birthday! She chose cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Nicole and Cora came over to help me get things ready for the kids parties. They also kept Paxton for me while I got to have lunch with Piper. It was awesome getting to have that time with her alone. Thursday, August 28, 2014. My beautiful friend Cora turned 26! She asked me if I wanted to go see Lysa Terkeurst with her for her birthday. ABSOLUTELY! I am so thankful for this girl! She is such a great friend to me and we have so much fun together. We were so excited to get our picture with Lysa and her conference was of course amazing! Thank you so much Cora! Saturday, January 31, 2015. After mom and Ashley came in for a few days they took the kids back to Antlers with them for the weekend. We were SO excited! Beau and I ate out twice, watched Unbroken at the movies, ran together, watched the 3 Karate Kid movies on Netflix, did some shopping. Love snuggling in the mornings with my little man. Growing in Faith and Family. Just got an email from our agency with the wonderful news that the tax credit was not just extended, it was signed into law! The email is below. We are very excited about the recent news that Congress has extended the Adoption Tax Credit. According to a media release from the National Council for Adoption. Congress passed the American Taxpayer Relief Act which will become law once signed by President Obama. Included in this act was an extension of the adoption tax credit.
