The view through my eyes. Friday, February 4, 2011. I should be packing my bags to go see my brother in Houston right now, but instead, I woke up this morning only to find that my flight got canceled! Great this ginormous blizzard is slowly ruining all of my plans, one by one. Super annoyed right now. I thought my stresses were over after I finished up everything for Korea! I guess being home this weekend will give me more time to prepare, but I was really looking forward to my weekend in Houston.

The view through my eyes. Monday, February 14, 2011. The First of Many. I started tearing up reading the card that everyone signed for me but quickly drank those away with some delicious cocktails and shots! I actually didn't plan on going out that night, but another sushi chef used to be a bartender in Busan, and he made me a flaming shot tower and blew fire! If that wasn't any indication that I should go out and enjoy my last night of work, I don't know what is. February 14, 2011 at 2:22 PM. Where will...

http://meeshinkorea.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
The view through my eyes. Sunday, January 30, 2011. Lately, I've definitely gotten into this habit of looking at ESL teachers' apartments in Seoul on YouTube and have seen so many different ones that I have no idea what to expect now. I really want to know where I will be living though! It's so difficult trying to figure out what to take with me in my luggage! No idea. I barely made baggage limits this summer, and I was only there for two months! Epik High - One. Tuesday, January 25, 2011. 2010 has left ...

The view through my eyes. Saturday, April 16, 2011. I still haven't finished taking pictures of my school, but I have a few to share with you! I've been trying to wait for a nice, bright day, but it's been a little rainy, a little cloudy, and a little yellow dust-y lately. I did manage to take a few pictures though, and I will update this post with more later if I take some worthy ones. Large school and have a total of around 1500 kids that I teach! I had heard of the "celebrity effect" before I started ...

The view through my eyes. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Sorry for the long overdue post (again)! I've had a lot of people asking me to put up some pictures and have also had a lot of people wondering about my apartment, but I've been super lazy. Not only have I not been taking any pictures, it's also taken a long time to get my room in order, with a lot of help from my mom! Okay, picture time. (Click on the pictures to enlarge them.). View of my door (with many Korean alphabet magnets! Happy with because it...

http://meeshinkorea.blogspot.com/p/about.html
The view through my eyes. I did a lot of traveling around Korea during my stay there but ended up falling in love with Seoul. I couldn't believe that a city about the size of my hometown, which only has a population of roughly 175,000 people, was bustling with over 10 million. So here it is:. My life as a Seoulite (where my lame pun of a blog title came from); teaching English in a public school through SMOE/EPIK. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A rocketship to fly. Back to the Motherland. http://meeshinkorea.blogspot.com/2011/02/2-weeks.html
The view through my eyes. Monday, February 7, 2011. I don't really have much to update with today, but I just realized that in exactly two weeks from today, I will be hopping on my plane to head back to Korea! It's pretty crazy when I think about all of the stuff I still need to do. and even crazier when I realize that most all other EPIKers only have about a week until they leave! Obviously half of these are materialistic things, so I'll get by. This is my unofficial "tag" for the other EPIK blogger...

http://meeshinkorea.blogspot.com/2011/06/epik-fail.html
The view through my eyes. Monday, June 6, 2011. What a total fail blog, huh? I've decided that I should just put this blog to rest for the time being. I love being able to share with everyone what I've been doing, but it obviously hasn't been working out! Can you believe that I still haven't been able to find that yet? That being said, I've gotten SO incredibly lazy with my blog, that I am just going to temporarily stop thinking about it because I feel guilty every time I realize I haven't updated! Novem...
