Oct 4, 2012. You know the show "Home Make Over" well the churches of Bayankhongor were able to do a "Ger Make Over" Mongolia style. Early this past summer we took an offering amoung all the believers for the poor of Bayankhongor. From people giving around $1 we had 1,000 USD to help the poor. We decided to help one family really well. That morning we took the family around town where a shop gave them a TV and another one gave them some clothing. When they came home they found they had a new place....

Friday, April 9, 2010. We had a great Easter and celebrated with August's family at our house for lunch. They each got some bubbles and M&M's from August's parents. The girls were treated to some Easter surprises by some friends at church. They bought them the purple and pink bunnies. Emily opened hers at church and carried it around all morning! Monday, December 21, 2009. The Many Faces of our Children! Emily's Preschool Christmas Party. Emily's preschool class has been preparing for a while for a little presentation for the parents. August and I were both able to join her last week and she was so excited that we are able to go to school with her! The kids did a great job singing songs for us. Saturday, February 13, 2010. Thursday I arrived at work and was pleasantly surprised to see this package awaiting me on my desk. I was so surprised because I never get flowers, nevertheless flowers at work. I glanced at the card and then headed to a meeting. So I came back from my meeting and decided I should probably open the flowers. Here is what I found. I immediately noticed that there was something terribly wrong with these flowers. They were dead! Sunday, May 31, 2009. Friday night August was surprised at the Granger Christian graduation. He received the Alumnus Knight of Honor Award. I had found out that he was going to be recognized about a month ago and was told I had to keep it a secret. That was hard! He was completely suprised, but the girls and I and August's family were able to be there to see him receive this honor. We are very proud of you August! Happy Belated Birthday to Me. We here in Bayankhongor received our gifts on the early side this year and the Provincial volunteer team who is responsible for the gift distribution and The Greatest Journey. Course did a great job in getting the gifts out to the countryside.
