It is easy to see how the house could have been torn down and used as parking for the university’s new dormitory. The house is located in the 1100 block of North Summit Avenue in Springfield. Seeing the house as an extension of a liberal arts education, it will be used to foster Rose O’Neill’s legacy. Drawings are on display along with a large photograph by local artist Jule Blackmon.
