France has coconuts: December 2014
http://francehascoconuts.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
The adventures of an Australian woman in New Caledonia. Friday, 26 December 2014. New Caledonia gave us this moment. Lately there have been mixed feelings in our house. We learnt a few weeks ago that my husband's work contract will expire in April 2015, so we will be moving on from New Caledonia. The adventures of an Australian woman in New Caledonia. Thursday, 11 June 2015. Reset : making a new life in the shadow of the old. Shipping boxes, selling cars, winding up school, closing bank accounts.tensions become frayed with what to do, when, who and how. Finally we agreed (or I convinced them) that a '6 personnes' gateau will do the job for a class or 4 or 6 year olds. After about 25 minutes of driving throug...

The adventures of an Australian woman in New Caledonia. Friday, 1 August 2014. Now we are six : an island celebration. The past months in my blog absence have included some physical and mental challenges for our family. We've all been learning about ourselves and there have been some new understandings of how things are and how they may be. For this reason we decided to go somewhere to celebrate Jack's 6th birthday last weekend, and take a day trip to Amedee Island, 20km south of Noumea. One of the best ...
