Miguel and Mom: Miguel and Mom Goes to Boracay!
http://miguelandmom.blogspot.com/2007/08/miguel-and-mom-goes-to-boracay.html
Friday, August 17, 2007. Miguel and Mom Goes to Boracay! Last weekend, Miguel and I on a whim packed our bags and headed for a short R&R in Boracay! It was raining quite a bit, but ti stopped for a while and Miguel managed to squeeze in some swim time. He most certainly enjoyed the waves, but ended up with a slight fever and cough in the evening. Oh well, at least I have finally managed to make him experience a domestic flight, a ferry ride and see a little bit of Boracay! An Apple a Day.

http://miguelandmom.blogspot.com/2007/12/christmas-with-miguel.html
Tuesday, December 25, 2007. I did not prepare a spectacular, extravagant gift for Miguel this year because I had to keep in mind that I got him loads of stuff throughout the year. Add to that a trip to Hongkong and Boracay. I don't want to spoil him. So, to add pizzazz to my Christmas gift, I set-up a scavenger hunt for him and here's how it went-. Mga etiketa: aileen apolo. Hi neighbor it's me! Hehehe. You two are cute :D. January 5, 2008 at 3:47:00 PM PST. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Homegrown: Waiting, Thy Will Be Done
http://svhomegrown.blogspot.com/2007/10/waiting-thy-will-be-done.html
This started out as my column in our Parish' newsletter, THE BEADS, where I used to be the editor in chief. The main objective of the newsletter was to inspire people and bring them closer, in service, to God. I've moved on and hopefully I can still inspire people here. May God be with you :). Wednesday, October 10, 2007. Waiting, Thy Will Be Done. Sometimes we get so impatient about getting our way we pray so hard and then we get tampo. With God whenever He doesn't grant our prayers. Familiar?

Solutions Not Lampoons: Privatization of Government Performing Assets
http://jtapolo.blogspot.com/2008/05/privatization-of-government-performing_27.html
Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Privatization of Government Performing Assets. Proclamation No. 50, the original privatization law, states the rationale behind the program:. The following PERFORMING ASSETS have been privatized: PNB, PETRON, PNOC-EDC, TRANSCO. Why? Are not these clear violations of the above stated policy? The proceeds of these dispositions are supposed to be remitted to the national treasury of which 60% is for the Agrarian Reform Fund and 40% to the General Fund. For GOCC's, 50% of the proce...

Thursday, May 14, 2009. An obscure provision in the Civil Code (and maybe now forgotten) reads:. THOUGHTLESS EXTRAVAGANCE IN EXPENSES FOR PLEASURE AND DISPLAY DURING A PERIOD OF ACUTE PUBLIC WANT OR EMERGENCY MAY BE STOPPED BY ORDER OF ANY GOVERNMENT OR PRIVATE CHARITABLE INSTITUTION.". And, of course, to unnecessary JUNKETS of Malacanang! Do they still need a court order to stop then from this THOUGHTLESS EXTRAVAGANCE? Former) Judge Jose T. Apolo. Labels: philippine civil code.
