Well, I've been slowly getting to a place in my mind where I think I could actually quit now. In the past I've always told myself things like, "I'm not ready yet" or "I love to smoke", even though I knew I was full of **** and was really just addicted. No more of that! It must stop sometime and now seems like as good a time as ever.

These days I find that most of my masonic work revolves around the administration of the lodge. When a degree is set, I am still excited for the candidate, but the ritual has lost some luster because I'm always worried about other "things" in the ritual. Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Scottish Rite Practice or Not. In a matter of days the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Utah will be holding it's semi-annual reunion. It lasts for 2 and half days, from 8am to 10pm so by the time it's over you are totally wiped out. The funny thing about the Scottish Rite Reunion is that we always schedule practices for the degrees but, at best, 2 or 3 brothers show up instead of the whole cast. What up with that?
