Writing the Waves: February 2010
http://writingthewaves-lynn.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 27, 2010. Yep, it does. I can (still) hardly believe my kiddo is a year old. Time is draining away in a blur of diaper changes, couponin' crazes, blogging, and my most recent expedition, mystery shopping. And I also think these chameleon traits, which are mostly fun and surprising, (and sometimes a little depressing in a culture that starts asking "so what do you want to be when you grow up? Sunday, February 14, 2010. That I feel like you must have existed somewhere, somehow, before.

Writing the Waves: November 2009
http://writingthewaves-lynn.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 7, 2009. For me to coupon (said in Triumph the insult comic dog voice). Holy crap, I think I’m a housewife. So my latest obsession is coupons. Seriously, have these been around all along? How come nobody told me about them? So for the past week or so I’ve been practically carrying around a pair of scissors (don’t worry—I don’t carry them in the same hand I use to carry the baby! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Writing the Waves: October 2009

Saturday, October 31, 2009. Despite all this fun, I still make room for my melancholic tendencies. Recently after a nice walk with a friend, I was prepping apples to attempt making an apple crisp, with Max in the Ergo. He fell asleep, his little head (okay, in all honesty, not so little—it’s a 97th percentile head! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My little life; goodness and light. Hey, I'm Over Here! Simple template. Writing the Waves: March 2010
http://writingthewaves-lynn.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 27, 2010. Goes in and brings him to bed, whilst I slumber downstairs in the guest room until somewhere between 3 and 5am when Max demands milk. We sort of stumbled onto this arrangement, which, while far from perfect or a long-term solution to our sleep woes, is working for the moment, and bringing me some much overdue sleep. We weren't really even planning on night weaning- it just sort of happened. And there's some comfort in that. Sunday, March 14, 2010. And gather up some clips for an...

Writing the Waves: April 2009
http://writingthewaves-lynn.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2009. Silent Night, Holy Crap! So we've been struggling with Max wanting to nurse almost constantly, and being pretty fussy at times. But Tuesday night, after a long hard Monday, we gave him a bottle of expressed milk and a bath and he slept for 5 hours straight. woohoo! Even our little kitty, whose been acting out a bit since Max's arrival, slept on my pillow and refrained from her "death howl" for an entire night. Well, going to try to squeeze in a few more chores before the Booby B...

A political aside….why? About/Why blog about raising my boy? Labels are for Jars. Words on the journey of raising a boy who eschews many social “boy” labels, and empowering him along the way. A political aside….why? So as the 17 of you who read regularly have probably noticed, I like to sprinkle these pages/posts with a few political notes or commentaries. Why, you might ask? Hence the political asides. And though they are not true asides, they sometimes feel like such, so I felt the need for a littl...

Writing the Waves: January 2010
http://writingthewaves-lynn.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 23, 2010. Not much terribly exciting to write about, but the boys are at swim class so I wanted to check in here, since it's been a few weeks. And for the coming year- a few intentions/goals:. Keep using coupons and sales so I can keep within our grocery budget. Write in here at least twice a month! Deal with mail and dish...

Sunday, March 30, 2008. Mostly, I'd say this is a placeholder right now. I have yet to take pics, but I was able to destash a TON of yarn. This was a local swap organized by some great ravelry. More to come, in the form of pics.
