Sunday, April 14, 2013. Maisey is starting to adjust now that she has started dance. She is taking Jazz and Ballet (5 hours a week). Only a third of what she took before (13 classes rather than 2), but it is a start considering everyone is about to have recitals and it's the end of the year. Audutions for company are near the end of May. We can't wait. The move has mostly be smoothe, but she lost the twinkle in her eye with no dance for 3 weeks after the 2nd week. Monday, August 3, 2009. This is what it looks like to have pride in your country. Unfortunately for Alyssa she happens to be wearing the getup for the CANADIAN army reserve. My brother in law ( Uncle Kingsley to Alyssa ) happens to be part of the reserve in Canada. In fact. He just left today for another month long training session. While we were up for an extended visit, he thought it would be fun to dress up my eldest in his gear. I don't think I would feel so light hearted. Give em heck Alyssa!

So in the van we crammed and to the beach we fly. We hunt for crabs and starfish under sand and foot. Then we stop to get an ice cream down in Tilamook. I wish they all could be California "days".
