According to this article, a third of junior doctors have nowhere to go after their PRHO year. This is just great, isn't it? Having been on a surgical firm for the past week, Corpus found out some more disturbing facts about the NHS - my trust does not have shoe-covers! On the first day of the firm I asked them for some shoe-covers for going into the theatre - I do not have my own theatre shoes. The reply I got was staggering - the trust no longer purchases shoe-covers and that I should just go into the theatres with my bare, naked outside shoes!
