I wanted to share a few photos from our weekend celebrating St. Patrick's Day. As I scroll over my posts from exactly a year ago. http://foodforthoughtlinds.blogspot.com/2012/07/healthy-no-bake-hemp-seed-peanut-butter.html
The never ending quest for the best tasting foods and recipes in the world. With a side of commentary on raising two children with developmental delays. Saturday, July 28, 2012. Healthy No-Bake Hemp Seed Peanut Butter Balls. This recipe comes from my good friend Heather. I've been in a bit of a snack rut lately and this is my new favourite afternoon snack. Along with a glass of iced chai. Remember my chai latté addiction. And making myself iced chai at home. Next on my to-do list? 3 tbsp. maple syrup.

The Clothing Wars | Sensory Speak
https://sensoryspeak.wordpress.com/2014/11/20/the-clothing-wars
Just another WordPress.com site. November 20, 2014. I’d like to think I understand B’s extreme sensory challenges when it comes to how clothing feels. Then I have mornings like this morning…and realize I am extremely intolerable and like every other parent out there just want her to wear what I pick out. For kids with sensory processing disorder, tone and inflection in our voices can really stress them out. Many times, they are more sensitive to EVERYTHING and that definitely includes our tone of voi...

Just another WordPress.com site. The Clothing Wars →. June 2, 2014. B’s been having a VERY difficult time relating to her sister lately. There are 2.5 years between her and her little sister. Growing up, the two of them have always been the best of friends. They play really well, confide in each other, and share in one another’s successes. Within the last 6 months or so, B’s overall tolerance for her sister has changed. I am currently a stay at home mom to my two beautiful girls. B is 7, thoughtful, ...

Monday, February 23, 2015. 8230;for anyone who is still out there. I thought maybe I was done with the blog. It had served its purpose. It helped me get through some tough times. And hopeful it helped others in the process. But now I’m thinking it might have a little more time left. Our little miracle, Dominic Michael, came into the world on November 23, 2014. Having a baby changes everything. I could write and write about the wonderful and terrifying experiences of being a mom. Nothing is the same.

Monday, February 25, 2013. My head told my heart, let love grow…. 8230;but my heart told my head, this time no, this time no. [1]. The sun is shining. The birds are chirping. It’s the start of a fresh new week. Yet, I can’t find a single thing to smile about. I don’t want to get out of bed. I don’t want to do anything. I don’t, I can’t, I won’t…. Even though I have no major commitments (a.k.a. no full-time job. There are projects at home that I have been looking forward to doing. This seems counter intui...

Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Where I am today. You know.Summer’s a busy time of year. There’s vacations, trips, yard work, Red’s games…. It’s been so nice outside. I’ve been busy with my garden (canned for the first time the other day! I’ve been reading a lot of baby books. I just haven’t had time for blogging. I think that I might not b...
