...always an adventure: Christmas time!
http://jakeandellisha.blogspot.com/2012/12/christmas-time.html
Saturday, December 1, 2012. Tanner's day: Sat on Santa's lap, helped mom decorate the tree, then made a mess in my pants (for the fourth time, although this one was the worst). We had a Christmas brunch this year. There were lots of crafts for the kids to do, and a whole lot of breakfast casseroles to eat. He really liked the bells on Santa's shirt. Jake had to go to the library after we came home, so Tanner and I decorated the tree. Here is a picture of him walking! All clean. And making a weird face.

Monday, January 16, 2012. So for the past week we've been hearing about a supposed 'snowpocalypse' that was supposed to hit this weekend. I had my doubts when I woke up this morning and it was raining, but the weatherman came through for us! This is my wife. She is hot. The view from our balcony. Ellisha's new snow boots. Teddy (my parents dog) chewed through her last pair. Helping Ellisha sit down to make a snow angel. Two very pregnant women. Yes, we built a pregnant snowwoman. View my complete profile.

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. We watch Sophia Simpson (friends' daughter) on occasion. Her and Tanner are only a few weeks apart, so it's a pretty easy babysitting job. (We baby-swap with them quite a bit.) We think Tanner was showing off for Sophia or something, because he was going crazy! Tanner is not very interested in Carly anymore, so Carly was excited when Sophia wanted to pet her. Tanner is getting better at making messes. Stands up to the kitchen cart and pulls everything off. Last weekend we wen...

Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Just a few pictures of what we've been up to lately. We love living here, in West Seattle, mostly because it's the least city-ish part of Seattle that you can live. We love the Alki trail and beach (that's where I go walking every morning), and the other beautiful parks in West Seattle. You can even see my little bump. This biking day was in September, so I'm a little bigger now. View from the water taxi on our way back to Alki. A pretty morning while I was walking.

Tuesday, November 15, 2011. A Charlie Brown Halloween. We went to a friends house the week before Halloween and carved pumpkins with them. Jake carved a masterpiece of "Trogdor the Burninator", and I carved an easy, classic pumpkin face. You can tell who is the more creative one. Close up of Trogdor. So this is where the Charlie Brown part of Halloween comes in. We decorated a room for our ward trick-or-treat, and dressed up to go along with the theme. It's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Ok, I'll stop there. Here are the pictures:. Ellisha is 19 weeks today! I claim full responsibility for the posting of this picture). Ellisha: "Cute little foot". Yeah, most kids have to wait till they're like 14 months. Before they learn how to wave. Our kid is a bit ahead of the bell curve. Tuesday, September 20, 2011. San Francisco Road Trip. And one cute boy. Jake had a lot of scruff. Bike ride one night. It was a beautiful sunset! In a really deep and intense voice.

...always an adventure: Thanksgiving
http://jakeandellisha.blogspot.com/2012/12/thanksgiving.html
Saturday, December 1, 2012. Went to Mom and Dad Keyes house for Thanksgiving. I think there were at least 50 people there for Thanksgiving dinner. it was pretty crazy, but really fun. Sheila and Ryan came from Idaho and it was so fun to see them! The Schmutz family came too, and we all had a wonderful time. Sister Lamb took family pictures for us and the Schmutz family. We love them! This one is my favorite. Used some apples we found outside in a pile for props. and then for treats. Love you guys,. We we...

Saturday, May 12, 2012. Tanner thought the camera was on the other side. Apparently this is a comfortable sleeping position. Mom, why do you always embarrass me in public! Tanner's new favorite thing: drooling. He's really good at it.really. If this picture didn't make you smile, you should probably go see a therapist. Another one of Tanner's talents: licking things. Ellisha's momma-bear instincts came out when a bee started flying around Tanner. Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Life is getting "normal" again.

Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Jake and I have been married for almost a month! My hair was so lovely when we started. Don't know why we didn't just keep it the way it was. I have no idea why this picture went to the side, but I can't get it to move. I'm not very good with this whole blog thing yet. Everyone wanted to help. First ones to breakfast! We see who cares most about food. On our way to the temple. Dad was too happy to be getting rid of me. Waiting at the temple. I like Dallin in this picture.
