Wednesday, 4 January 2012. Spot M 13th December 2011. Travelled down to one of my favourite shore breaks yesterday. It was going to be a rush to make the tide due to work but thought the risk could be worth it as the wind was forecast to be more favourable later on. On arrival we didn’t bother checking but instead got changed and headed straight down to the beach. Wednesday, 4 January 2012. Spot B Surf Session 1st December 2011. Took another trip to this beach and after walking down a very sketchy path we made it to the waters edge. The surf was 3-4ft and slightly weak looking and defiantly far from it’s best. Saying that, the waves where still good with a few riders busting airs and getting some tube riding. Wednesday, 4 January 2012. Looking at the beach the wait wasn’t going to be too long. The surf was a heavy 4ft with a slight cross shore wind which wasn’t affecting it too much. I decided to shoot with my land gear and was pleased with the decision not to water shoot,it would have been a lot of swimming with the amount of water moving and probably not as productive.
