The North West Passage. Where Thousands Are Sailing. The Canuck World Tree. Jun 16th, 2009 at 10:58 AM. In lieu of a Q of the Week (since I was in Edmonton for the last four days.). At the Spirit of the West Gathering, I had a brilliant time. The event is run by excellent people, and I do recommend to those within reach of Edmonton to attend next year. We have a distinct society (remember that phrase? In that kind of way. Yes, I know that the Eddas say that the World Tree, Yggdrasil, was an ash. But ...

Cultural Fixation - Reconstructionists and Traditionalists
http://recons.livejournal.com/50397.html
Jul 10th, 2008 @ 10:46 pm. I am curious what other recon groups do in regard to culture. In CR people have been going on for years that you have to learn a language and you have to be involved in the culture (which includes use of language) but in talking with some Asatru freinds I have to wonder. Do other recon groups fixate on the 'living culture' as much as CR? July 11th, 2008 10:08 am (UTC). I'm a member of Romuva - Lithuanian Pre-Christian Faith. July 11th, 2008 12:22 pm (UTC). Question of the Week: Flags and symbols - The North West Passage
http://northwestpass.livejournal.com/80715.html
The North West Passage. Where Thousands Are Sailing. Question of the Week: Flags and symbols. Apr 5th, 2009 at 12:05 PM. Another fun one this week, although it might make a few of you think I'm trying to start my own cult. (Well, I am kinda tired of being poor.). In his 1957 book "Symbols of Faith", American theologian Paul Tillich wrote: " Man's ultimate concern must be expressed symbolically, because symbolic language alone is able to express the ultimate. The flag participates in the power and dignity...

The Clann-maker - The North West Passage

The North West Passage. Where Thousands Are Sailing. Mar 19th, 2009 at 11:24 PM. This is only the short form of what I would like to say about some of the matters that arose in the comments section of my blog this week. As long as I continued to think about it, the logic of the problem led to wider and larger questions concerning community. Is the pagan movement a community? What would it mean if we are? What would it mean if we are not? These people need not do this kind of work full time. Indeed I ...

Mar 12th, 2009 04:49 pm. Strangely enough, I found this community by googling for occult shops in Toronto (and found the address for Formula 1- woooohooooo! Enough advertising, a bit about me:. I'm 29, a Haegtessa, a Hard Polytheist of mostly the Hellenic kind (though not Hellenismos), on this path for 21 years, a Child of Hekate and Pan, and now venturing into Hoodoo. That's about it. Nice to be here, and to see this community! 2009-03-13 12:17 am (UTC). What is a Haegtessa? 2009-03-13 03:13 am (UTC).
