Friday, December 4, 2009. Where is Your Child? My first goat Alf came to me on a cold spring day. He was two days old. I held him in my arms and cuddled his soft, warm body. He looked very much like Bambi. An emergency call from a friend brought the baby to me and I began my adventure in goat herding. Still it was great fun watching him eagerly suck at the warm liquid. He takes every chance to rub himself all over me. The stench can be overpowering, especially on a warm day. Then there is rut season....

March 25, 2011. I took the kids to the Keesler Air Show with our friends, the Gifford family. It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day! Ava and Mia toured a C-130 and had a blast in the bounce houses. November 30, 2010. We hosted Thanksgiving Dinner at our house this year. Peter's parents drove down and we had all of our military friends over who were still in town. It is one of the old Catholic Missions in the area. These photos are of the door to the church. I liked its detailed wood carving, and the rose in the center.
