http://sondieridesagain.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
The Lower End of Normal. Loving life in my own quirky way! Saturday, July 28, 2012. 5 minute Friday.on Saturday. The word for this week's 5 minute Friday. Here's my 5 minutes of unscripted free writing:. I remember sitting in my first grad class at Duke hearing about the cytochrome P450 system and. Was Completely. Amazed. Amazed by science yes, but more amazed by God. For example, you know how you hear about not drinking grapefruit juice when taking certain medicines? God gave each one of us our very own...

http://sondieridesagain.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
The Lower End of Normal. Loving life in my own quirky way! Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Working on a new look. Not sure I really like it but I've had so many technical difficulties this evening that I'm keeping it! The phrase "A New You" started appearing in my life about a month ago and keeps coming up in different ways. Of course it is almost a new year so maybe all of you keep seeing this phrase-now again here! Anyway, here goes to a new me-or at least an improved me as I continue to trade my ashes.

The Lower End of Normal: 10 Things I learned in December
http://sondieridesagain.blogspot.com/2013/12/things-i-learned-in-december.html
The Lower End of Normal. Loving life in my own quirky way! Monday, December 30, 2013. 10 Things I learned in December. Linking up with Emily Freeman. I spent an hour reading her list of things she learned over this past year and was laughing out loud at some of them. Also, her book A Million Little Ways. It is part of the spark that is burning in the creativity corner of my soul…a good burn. 2 I love, love, love writing goals for a New Year….and my year does not go well if I don't write them. 8 When your...

The Lower End of Normal. Loving life in my own quirky way! Saturday, October 30, 2010. No, I didn't dress as tiramisu silly. But I did get free tiramisu for going to a local restaurant in my halloween costume! Turns out my friend and I were the only ones there in costume. I was Bob the Pit Crew Chief for Carl Edwards (yes, I wore the white paper suit in public) and my friend was a Mexican man who lost his sombrero (read- she didn't have one). I won't post that picture. Saute green pepper, onion and garlic...

The Lower End of Normal: January 2014
http://sondieridesagain.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
The Lower End of Normal. Loving life in my own quirky way! Wednesday, January 29, 2014. One of my goals for reading this year of 2014 is to read at least one nonfiction and one poetry collection every month. In typical Sondie fashion, I didn't want to fail at this goal so I pushed too far the other direction. Yes, balance is always an issue for me. Now I realize I only read one fiction book! One year I made balance. My goal for the entire year in every area of life…maybe I need to reconsider this. Wednes...

The Lower End of Normal: Did you know…..?
http://sondieridesagain.blogspot.com/2014/01/did-you-know.html
The Lower End of Normal. Loving life in my own quirky way! Monday, January 6, 2014. Did you know…? Art is powerful. Did you know that Henri Matisse bought a painting by Paul Cézanne when he was a starving artist and could not afford to spend money on art? Yet the painting became a need. That he HAD to have it…and it ended up having a huge impact on Matisse. It didn't matter to Matisse that others didn't like it. Cézanne's work was like a spark to dry wood for him. He held onto the painting for 37 years&#...

The Lower End of Normal. Loving life in my own quirky way! Sunday, January 31, 2010. How did such a thing happen? So I said to them, ‘Let any who have gold take it off.’ So they gave it to me, and I threw it into the fire, and out came this calf.” Exodus 32: 24 ESV. I sure didn't create this thing." Really. How many times do I do this same thing? Sin, then deny my sin. Create nice little idols then wonder where they came from? Blame others for my sin. Act surprised by the outcome of my sin. Well, it won'...
